Who We Are at Lazenby Farms
Our Story
Starting out as a pole barn used to house our tractors, seed, and other equipment, the barn has been renovated into a rustic but elegant facility perfect for informal events; however, it can be easily transformed into the most elegant affair. It is an enclosed facility composed of The Great Room, The County Store, The Guest Kitchen, and The Maple Room. The building is heated and cooled. There are three large barn doors on the front of the building that can be opened for that outdoor feeling. Our facility is NON SMOKING. We respectfully request that you ask guests who do smoke to pick up their butts if they smoke outside.
The Great Room
The Great Room measures 60 x 80 feet with 16 foot ceilings providing 4,800 sq .ft. of open floor space. The room is anchored on the north end by a large rock fireplace with a custom cedar tree mantel from the farm. It is the perfect spot on cold evenings to enjoy a warm fire.
The Pavilion
If covered outdoor space is what you are looking for, The Pavilion is sure to meet your needs. The 30 x 60 area has seven 8 ft. picnic tables accommodating an additional 70 guests. This space is open and ideal for outside dining or rehearsal dinners. A bar can be set up in this area as well as a band or DJ. In the colder months we will permit our guests to build an outside fire at The Pavilion in a portable fire pit that they provide. We will not allow outside fires if there has been drought or if the field behind the barn is ready to harvest.
